Job summary

The Role

Fidelity's Charitable Technology group is adding an Angular-focused Full Stack Developer to our Westlake regional campus, within the DFW Metroplex. We're looking for a hardworking, collaborative, analytical thinker to help deliver the best digital solutions to our customers. The ideal candidate is entrenched in full stack development, with a passion for leveraging the right tools and frameworks to guide the development of stable, robust, and resilient apps that best serve our customer initiatives.

Fidelity Charitable engineers develop next-generation technology that directly impacts how our customers accomplish their philanthropic goals. As a developer within our technology business unit, you will help take Fidelity Charitable applications to the next level of evolution. The position will require hands-on software development, cross team collaboration with a diverse and co-located engineering team, and the ability to visualize customer issues as drivers for internal change.

The Expertise And Skills You Bring

• 2+ years of full stack engineering and development experience
• Must have experience developing modern web applications using Angular and TypeScript
• Experience with HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and responsive web development
• Experience with core Angular concepts, including components, services, routing, forms, and dependency injection
• Experience developing or integrating RESTful APIs
• Experience with a server-side development technology such as Java/Spring Boot
• Experience working with SQL and relational databases
• Experience with Git and source control
• Experience developing or deploying applications in AWS cloud environments
• Experience developing unit and integration tests
• Experience troubleshooting applications across front-end and back-end components
• Familiarity with CI/CD and automated build/deployment processes
• Understanding of web application security and secure coding practices
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment
• Experience developing mobile or cross-platform applications using Angular is a plus
• NgRx or advanced state management experience is helpful
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and cloud platforms is a plus

Fidelity's Onsite Working Model

Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
