Solutions³ LLC is seeking an Applications Developer III/Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and deploy cybersecurity capabilities for a U.S. Government client on a mission-critical program.

Onsite in Dulles, VA, with Secret clearance eligibility and 8+ years of experience. You will work across front-end and back-end technologies, build robust test suites, and implement DevOps practices, cloud deployment, and secure coding standards.

Title: Applications Developer III

Description:
Solutions³ LLC is supporting a U.S. Government customer on a large mission critical development and sustainment program to design, build, deliver, and operate a network operations environment, including introducing new cyber capabilities to address emerging threats.

Solutions³ LLC is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support the design, development, and deployment of advanced cybersecurity capabilities. The Full Stack Developer will play a pivotal role in our organization's technology team.

Salary Range: $112,000 - $131,000
Location: Dulles, VA
Job Type: Onsite

Eligibility

• Must be a US Citizen
• Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance within 1 year
• Must be able to obtainDHS Suitability prior to starting employment
• 8+ years of directly relevant experience in software development

Responsibilities

• Full Stack Development Develop, maintain, and enhance front-end and back-end components of web applications.
• Automated testing and smoke testing familiarity and implementation experience.
• Perform unit and integration testing to ensure software quality.
• Optimize application for speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine software requirements.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
• Handle authentication, authorization, and session management.
• Integrate with third-party services (e.g., payment processors, external APIs).
• DevOps and Deployment Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy applications to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Monitor application performance and reliability.
• Handle version control using Git and platforms like GitHub/GitLab.
• Collaboration and Documentation Collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, and development teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Document code and infrastructure changes, processes, and best practices.
• Participate in knowledge sharing and mentorship of team members.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Cybersecurity - Secure Coding Practices Create secure code according to industry best practices.
• Use strong encryption algorithms for data in motion and data at rest.
• Manage and handle credentials and secrets in a secure, authorized manner.
• Use correct error handling and logging within developed code.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and NodeJS.
• Strong knowledge of front-end and back-end frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience and/or familiarity with one of more of the following: SQL, Oracle, MySQL, JBDC, etc.
• Demonstrated experience and/or familiarity with one of more of the following: Pytest, Jupyter, Java Spring, JUnit, Hibernate, JavaScript, ReactJs, etc.
• Experience leading multiple software development teams.
• Experience developing system performance, availability, scalability, manageability, and security requirements for mid- to large-scale programs.
• Experience with cloud computing, multimedia storage, knowledge databases and data-mining analytics.
• Agile development methodology experience required.
• Experience with Linux and/or Unix.
• Experience with Jenkins and/or CloudBees.
