Job summary

Infosys is recruiting for a Technology Consultant 1 in Phoenix, AZ to drive enterprise integration initiatives within the EAIS unit. You will assist in stakeholder interviews, participate in design discussions, and contribute to coding, testing, and documentation efforts to deliver robust software solutions.

The role emphasizes agile collaboration, end-to-end SDLC involvement, proactive production support, and ongoing learning in fast-evolving technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java-based backend development.
• Experience with ReactJS development.
• Knowledge of microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with Kafka messaging systems.
• Experience with REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
• Experience with containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs and document stakeholder requirements.
• Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications and help create process documentation.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications per design specs.
• Execute test plans, analyze outcomes, and report defects to improve software performance.
• Support integration of new features and transitions within the system infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications and document maintenance procedures.
• Document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions.

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 1, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Assist in conducting targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs, and ensure accurate documentation of stakeholder requirements
• Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications, and aid in creation of process documentation.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications, following detailed design specifications to meet user requirements
• Execute test plans, analyse outcomes, and report defects to the development team, to facilitate enhancement of software performance
• Support the integration of new software features, facilitating smooth transitions within the existing system infrastructure
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and creation of comprehensive documentation for ongoing system maintenance
• Systematically document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions, thereby enriching team's knowledge repository

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
