Job summary

Marotta Controls is seeking a Full-Stack Developer in Parsippany, NJ to join the Enterprise Data and Process Automation Team. You will design and develop both front-end and back-end applications within our data architecture and manage end-to-end software delivery.

You will collaborate across teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions, implement RESTful APIs, and ensure security and performance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience managing the complete software development lifecycle from conception to deployment.
• Expertise in AWS Lambda, Relational Database Service (RDS), Lake Formation and cloud migrations.
• Proficient in Java, Python, C#, Angular, and/or React.
• Experience with web front-end and back-end development, data access tiers and Enterprise SQL.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git/GitHub.
• Experience with microservices such as Spring Framework and Spring Boot, and container services such as AWS ECS, Docker and/or Kubernetes.
• Established record of creating and maintaining multiple environments and building highly scalable solutions for rapidly growing business and project needs.
• Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Ability to document business requirements and system designs.
• Knowledge of lean and/or agile methodology.
• Knowledge of JIRA or a similar ticketing system is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence or a related field.

• Create, update and maintain strategic technology plans.
• Manage complex technology projects across organizations.
• Craft acceptable policies and procedures as needed.

Work Environment

This full‑time position is based in Parsippany and may require occasional travel to our Montville office location. It involves both a professional office environment and a manufacturing/machine shop environment, with standard office equipment and appropriate safety equipment. An on‑call rotation and occasional weekend support is expected.

Physical Requirements

Regularly required to see, talk and hear; frequent reaching, lifting and handling of objects; capable of sitting, standing, walking, bending, turning and moving about the facility; capable of lifting, pushing, pulling and moving items up to 25 pounds.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay range: $98,750 – $115,000 per year.
