Job summary

Restyn Inc is seeking a hands-on software developer to join our fast-paced team. You will contribute across backend and frontend layers, building engaging web and mobile experiences with Python, JavaScript, React.js, and React Native.

You will design and optimize PostgreSQL data models, integrate with external services, and participate in deployment automation using Azure and CI/CD workflows. A proactive, collaborative mindset will help you deliver high-impact solutions for our customers.

What the opportunity is and why you should work here:

Working as a member of our software development team, this role will contribute to the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of custom software, business applications, and web and mobile experiences. You will develop backend services using Python, build interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js and more, create mobile applications using React Native (among other mobile technologies), and work with PostgreSQL to support reliable application data and business workflows.

You will also contribute to application deployments, automation, and development workflows using Azure, Odoo.sh, and GitHub. With support from experienced teammates, you will take responsibility for assigned features and participate throughout the software development lifecycle, from understanding requirements and designing solutions through testing, deployment, and support.

What you will be doing day-to-day:

• Develop, maintain, and improve stable, scalable, and secure Python applications, backend services, APIs, and business process integrations.
• Build engaging, responsive, commercial, and secure web interfaces using JavaScript, React.js, HTML, and CSS.
• Develop and support full lifecycle mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native.
• Design and maintain PostgreSQL tables, queries, and migrations with attention to accuracy, performance, and data integrity.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
• Connect applications with third-party services and business platforms through APIs and integrations.
• Write maintainable code, participate in code reviews, perform manual developer testing, develop automated tests appropriate to the work, and support QA and UAT processes.
• Support application deployment and delivery automation using Azure, GitHub, Odoo.sh, GitHub Actions, and other technologies as the Company determines.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application issues, communicating progress and escalating when appropriate.
• Follow established practices for security, authentication, access controls, secrets management, PII, CPI, OWASP, NIST, and such cybersecurity standards as practices as the Company determines.
• Document application behavior, technical decisions, and deployment procedures to support effective teamwork and ongoing maintenance.
• Contribute ideas that improve application usability, development efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

What skills and experience we need you to have:

• 2-5 years of software development experience, including meaningful contributions to applications or features used by others.
• Practical experience developing backend applications, services, or integrations using Python.
• Working proficiency in JavaScript and experience developing frontend applications using React.js, Vue, and other Javascript frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with React Native, including mobile interfaces, API integration, and debugging.
• Solid knowledge of HTML and CSS, including responsive design and accessibility fundamentals.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL databases and relational database concepts, including SQL, schema design, and migrations.
• Understanding of REST APIs, OAuth, SAML, authentication, streaming, and integration between frontend, mobile, and backend systems.
• Experience using JIRA, Git, and GitHub for version control, pull requests, and collaborative development.
• Working familiarity with Azure application deployment and CI/CD workflows, including GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of testing, debugging, secure development practices, and ongoing application maintenance.
• Strong communication skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to deliver assigned work with appropriate guidance.
