Job summary

System One in Strongsville, OH is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to lead a team and deliver end-to-end solutions across the stack. The role combines backend Java/J2EE API work with Angular frontend development in a hybrid work model.

You will mentor developers, set coding standards, and collaborate across multiple teams to build scalable features, while participating in release planning and DevOps tooling integration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in full stack development (Java/J2EE, REST API, Spring Boot, Angular, XML/JSON, Swagger).
• 8+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services.
• 5+ years of Angular, CSS, JavaScript, HTML.
• 5+ years of GitHub, Jenkins, and CI/CD tools.
• Experience writing unit tests for Java and JavaScript.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Release Management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain APIs, microservices, and front-end components.

Job Title: Full Stack Developer

Type: Permanent Full Time
Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and implement APIs, microservices, and front end components
• Build responsive, dynamic user interfaces using Angular
• Lead and manage a team of developers; provide technical guidance and mentorship
• Work with developers across teams to build scalable features and solutions across the full stack
• Drive coding standards, best practices, and service improvements
• Develop and unit test Java based RESTful services and Angular/JavaScript front end code
• Review design documents and provide feedback on architecture, approach, and estimates
• Create technical designs for new systems and enhancements to existing systems
• Translate detailed requirements into functional system designs (backend and frontend)
• Participate in and drive Release Planning activities
• Create and manage Change Requests (CRs) for deployments and production releases
• Attend and represent the team in Enterprise Release Management (ERM) calls
• Support and drive end to end release execution, including deployment and post release validation
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and support applications across environments (backend and frontend)
• Work with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, uDeploy, and Git
• Knowledge and hands on experience with API management platforms such as Apigee
• Research and recommend libraries, tools, and frameworks to accelerate development
• Collaborate closely with internal and external business, design, and technical stakeholders
• Prioritize work, meet deadlines, and manage multiple initiatives effectively
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients, team members, and cross functional partners
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams

Requirements

• 10+ years overall experience in full stack development: Java/J2EE, REST API, Spring Boot, Angular, XML, JSON, Swagger
• 8+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
• 5+ years of Angular, CSS, JavaScript, HTML
• 5+ years of GitHub, Jenkins, and CI/CD tools
• Experience writing unit tests for both Java and JavaScript code
• Experience using Agile methodologies for application development
• Experience with Release Management, including Release Planning and Change Request (CR) management
