Job summary

Aristocrat Gaming, a leading global gaming content and technology company, is seeking a Full Stack Developer in Austin. You will build end-to-end features across frontend and backend, using React on the frontend and Node.js/Python on the backend to deliver reliable gaming systems.

You’ll collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and product teams to translate requirements into working software, review code, and optimize performance for cross-platform and mobile experiences.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in full stack software development.
• Strong proficiency in React and solid working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong experience in backend development using Node.js and Python.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with third-party data sources.
• Familiarity with building database structures and querying across relational or NoSQL environments.
• Experience with cross-platform and mobile optimisation techniques.
• Strong understanding of testing, version control, and code review.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with strong communication in a collaborative team.
• Attention to detail and dedication to code quality, performance, and reliability.
• Clear communicator for technical decisions with engineers and non-technical collaborators.
• Experience managing work in Jira or similar agile tooling.
• Experience with graph databases such as Neo4j is a plus but not required.

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and reliability issues across the stack.
