Job description

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with deep expertise in Angular 12+ and Java/Spring Boot to join a major enterprise application modernization and rewrite initiative. This role is a true 50/50 Full Stack position, requiring significant hands‑on development experience on both the frontend and backend. We are specifically looking for engineers who have built modern Angular applications while also developing scalable Java‑based APIs and microservices using Spring Boot. Candidates who have focused primarily on one side of the stack will not be the best fit. The ideal candidate will have a background in developing enterprise web applications, creating rich user experiences with Angular, and designing robust, high‑performance backend services in Java. You will play a critical role in transforming legacy applications into modern, cloud‑enabled solutions while collaborating with architects, product owners, and engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.

Front-End Development (50%)

• Design, develop, and enhance modern web applications using Angular 12+
• Build responsive, scalable, and highly interactive user interfaces utilizing TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Angular best practices
• Develop reusable components, services, and modules within Angular applications
• Optimize application performance and user experience across multiple browsers and devices
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful services and backend APIs

Back-End Development (50%)

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Build scalable REST APIs and microservices supporting critical business functionality
• Develop backend services, business logic, and integrations with internal and external systems

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Arlington, VA.

Pay And Benefits

• The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $72.50/hr.
• Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
