Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend microservices using Java 17 and Spring Boot 3. You will drive REST API design, integrate across enterprise systems, and contribute to front-end features with React/TypeScript.

Ideal candidates will have strong DevOps experience, cloud skills (AWS), and a track record of delivering reliable software in distributed environments, collaborating with UX/UI and product teams.

Qualifications

• Experience designing scalable backend systems using Java/Spring Boot.
• Hands-on with microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven patterns.
• Familiarity with API gateways, service discovery, caching, and messaging.
• Proficient in CI/CD, DevOps practices, and cloud technologies (AWS).
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native tech.
• Architect robust backend solutions with domain-driven design and distributed systems practices.
• Lead RESTful APIs design and integration across enterprise apps and SaaS platforms.
• Develop reusable backend components while enforcing security and standards.
• Implement and optimize API gateways, service discovery, caching, and messaging.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure data flow and interoperability.
• Write unit/integration/contract/end-to-end tests with JUnit/Mockito.
• Troubleshoot production issues using logging, tracing, and profiling tools.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.
• Develop responsive web apps with React/TypeScript and UI collaboration.
