Job summary

Oak Ridge National Laboratory invites applications for a Full Stack Developer to build internal tools for ARM triennial deliverables in a one-year term. The role sits in the Earth Science Database Engineering and Informatics Group at ORNL.

The candidate should have at least 5 years in professional software development and be proficient with FastAPI, Angular/React/Vue, Pinia, and PostgreSQL. Preferred skills include Vuetify, TypeScript, and GraphQL.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in a professional software development environment.
Experience with backend frameworks (FastAPI).
Experience with frontend frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue).
Knowledge of state management systems (e.g., Pinia).
Relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

Independently develop web-based software applications.
Understand and implement functionality from requirements and mocks.
Align development with ORNL values and mission while collaborating across teams.
