Job summary

DEXIS in Quakertown, part of Envista, seeks a Software Engineer II to drive full stack development for enterprise-level dental imaging and treatment planning platforms. You will work on React-based web apps, backend services and APIs, and Azure-native solutions, including containerized deployments with Docker.

The role emphasizes collaboration within cross-functional teams, knowledge growth, and contributing to secure, scalable software aligned with HIPAA/GDPR considerations and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in computer science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in C#, .NET, backend service and API development.
• Exposure to Azure services and containerized applications (Docker).
• React, TypeScript, and related frontend technologies; UI development.
• SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL database development.
• Familiarity with authentication/authorization concepts (JWT, SSO, OAuth 2.0, RBAC).

Responsibilities

• Participates in cross-functional teams to define and analyze requirements for new features or enhancements to products.
• Estimates development efforts and provides accurate work progress status.
• Produces and maintains all software engineering deliverables including software documentation, code, test plans and test results.
• Assures that deliverables meet quality, safety, regulatory, serviceability, and reliability requirements.
• Reviews code proposals and submissions in Design Reviews.
• Develops backend services and RESTful APIs using C#/.NET for the platforms.
• Develops React-based web application features and UI for dental imaging viewers.
• Builds and deploys applications to Microsoft Azure with Docker containers and supports monitoring and logging.
• Maintains database queries and schemas for patient records and imaging metadata.
• Implements security measures for HIPAA and GDPR compliance.
• Maintains and enhances CI/CD pipelines supporting regulatory compliance.
