General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking an Applications Developer to deliver simple solutions to complex problems for client-specific requirements. The role emphasizes frontend and backend development with a focus on user experience and scalable architecture.

You will tailor cutting-edge solutions, work on both frontend and backend, and collaborate with a team to ensure secure, reliable delivery. The position requires a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance and US citizenship.

• Experience developing and supporting applications and services that improve the producer experience.
• Experience building and supporting applications that enable the production of complex visual products.
• Proficiency with version control tools such as Git and GitHub.
• Strong presentational development skills, including HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience using Hugo or other static site generators.
• Experience working with Sass.
• Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript development, including Angular 8+, Node.js, and some combination of: TypeScript, Express, webpack, MySQL, Nginx, KoaJS, Lerna, or Electron.
• Experience working with cloud-based infrastructure and automation tools, such as AWS and Jenkins (or similar services).

• Experience contributing to or maintaining system security documentation.


• Experience developing AR/VR applications or working with related hardware, using languages like C# or C++, and engines such as Unreal, Unity or other related software.

• Education: BA/BS in Information Technology or related field or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

The likely salary range for this position is $170,000 - $230,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
