Job summary

RTX is seeking a developer to design, develop, test, deploy and maintain technical solutions for customers and stakeholders. You will collaborate with solution architects and peers to deliver end-to-end results across front-end and back-end technologies.

Qualified candidates have a university degree or equivalent with 2+ years of experience, proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript/CSS, and experience with Java, Python, .NET, and CI/CD. U.S. citizenship is required for access to program data.

What You Will Do
  • Work with customers, solution architects, and peers to design, develop, test, deploy and maintain technical solutions.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • Front-end development experience with modern frameworks: Typescript (Angular, React, or similar), CSS (Bootstrap, FontAwesome, or similar), JavaScript (AngularJS, jQuery, or similar).
  • Back-end development experience with technologies and frameworks such as: Java, Python, .Net, MVC Frameworks (Spring Boot, .NET Core, Flask or similar), ORM's (JPA, EFCore or similar), Testing Frameworks (JUnit, Pytest, XUnit or similar).
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate oral/written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in analysis and problem‑solving.
  • Experience w/ relational database management systems such as Oracle, MariaDB (MySQL), and/or SQL Server.
  • Agile software development and CI/CD experience.
  • Working knowledge of Object Oriented design patterns, cloud‑native architecture and database automation (e.g. Liquibase, EF Core Management or similar).

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective‑bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short‑term and/or long‑term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective‑bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.

Remote

Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (fromhome). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories). As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in‑person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on‑site, hybrid or remote.
