TEKsystems is seeking an experienced software engineer to build and maintain backend services, APIs, and cloud-native applications while modernizing legacy systems. You will contribute to system design decisions, own critical modules, and work on AWS migration and optimization projects.

The role requires senior-level ownership, the ability to explain tradeoffs, and readiness for live coding. A CS-related bachelor’s degree is preferred, with emphasis on scalable architectures and team

Requirements

The role requires strong hands-on experience with Python, Node.js, TypeScript, React, SQL, REST APIs, AWS, containers, system design, and production troubleshooting. Candidates should demonstrate senior-level engineering ownership, explain technical tradeoffs, and be prepared for live coding; a computer science or related bachelor's degree is preferred.
