Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking an in-home veterinarian to provide compassionate end-of-life care across Billings, Laurel, and surrounding areas. You will deliver in-home euthanasia, hospice support, and family counseling while maintaining the highest standards of care in a mobile setting.

The role offers flexible full-time or part-time schedules with unhurried appointments and strong leadership support to promote work–life balance and professional fulfillment.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to work independently in a mobile/home-based environment.
• Weekend availability on rotational basis.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home euthanasia and hospice care.
• Conduct quality-of-life consultations for pets.
• Offer compassionate support to families during end-of-life care.
• Maintain high standards of pain management and comfort.
