Job summary

P.J. Fitzpatrick is seeking a full lifecycle recruiter to manage end-to-end staffing, from sourcing to onboarding, in the Richmond, VA area.

The role emphasizes building relationships with managers, implementing efficient recruitment processes, and maintaining a comprehensive ATS. The candidate should have at least 2 years of recruiting experience, preferably in home improvement, and be proficient with tools like Workable and various texting recruiting platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years recruiting experience across multiple levels.
• Experience in Home Improvement industry preferred.
• Experience recruiting for Apprentice and Labor roles.
• Experience with ATS, preferably Workable.
• Experience using texting recruiting tools (Text Recruit, TextUs, ICIMS, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; multi-tasking.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers to understand staffing needs.
• Develop and post job ads across advertising sources.
• Source and screen resumes using multiple channels.
• Coordinate interviews with candidates and managers.
• Conduct background checks and onboarding for new hires.
• Negotiate offers and employment start dates.
• Maintain applicant tracking system (Workable).
• Attend job and college fairs as needed.
• Establish relationships with employment agencies for temp/contract roles.
