Prysmian is seeking a 1st shift Warehouse Picker/Pack er in Rocky Mount, NC. The role involves pulling, packing, labeling, and shipping elevator kits, hardware, troughs, and wire products as a complete kit for customers. Team-oriented work style and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities include using a scan gun, operating a forklift, and assisting with cycle counts and inventory control. A high school diploma and forklift experience are preferred; lifting up to 50 pounds is

Competenze

High School Diploma; warehouse/distribution experience.
English: proficient in reading, writing, and verbal communication.
Good physical condition for walking and standing most of the day.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Above average forklift driving skills (may be taught).
Attention to detail to ensure correct item and quantity.

Mansioni

Pull and assemble hardware, trough, and wire products according to customer orders.
Package material into boxes and onto skids.
Scan material with a scan gun to verify accuracy and completeness.
Affix appropriate labels and packing lists.
Prepare shipping documents.
Operate a stretch wrap machine to secure boxes and reels to a skid.
Operate a forklift to load orders onto outgoing trucks.
Assist with cycle counts and inventory control activities.
