Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a Part-time Fulfillment Specialist in Lubbock, TX, to support local routes and daily deliveries. The role involves replenishing inventory, servicing vending equipment, and interacting with customers during visits to our branch at 723 E 50th St, Lubbock, TX 79404.

You will operate on a local route, work MON–FRI with shifts 7:00am–5:00pm, and handle duties that drive branch success while maintaining safety and accuracy in inventory management.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
• Strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities.
• Customer service oriented and self-motivated.
• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages up to 75 lbs.
• Pass the required drug screen where applicable.

OVERVIEW

From making deliveries, to performing replenishments of our managed inventory programs, and maintaining equipment, you'll be at the forefront of our innovative solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Making deliveries with a company vehicle to fulfill inventory at customer sites
• Performing replenishment and general maintenance of vending equipment
• Interacting with our customers while making deliveries

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
• Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
