Job summary

Chewy is seeking a Fulfillment Specialist at our Harrisonville, MO fulfillment center to support accurate order fulfillment and efficient warehouse operations. You will label, replenish, and move product using PIT equipment, while helping ensure timely customer deliveries and safe handling of goods.

Ideal candidates are at least 18, can read and follow safety procedures, and are willing to be trained on PIT equipment; paid training and wage increases after three months are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Read, write, and speak English to understand and follow safety procedures and work instructions.
• Understand and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Willing to be trained on PIT equipment such as Movexx/Amigo, Walkie Stacker, Double Walkie Rider.

Responsibilities

• Labeling, replenishing, box making, loading/unloading trailers, moving stowed product using PIT equipment.
• Fulfilling and coordinating orders to ensure accurate and timely customer delivery.
• Crafting accurate shipping documentation for domestic shipments.
• Safely operating Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and material handling equipment to receive or transport product.

What you'll do:

• Labeling, replenishing, box making, loading/unloading trailers, moving stowed product to various locations using a Forklift, etc.
• Fulfilling and coordinating orders to ensure customer delivery process is efficient and accurate.
• Crafting accurate shipping documentation for domestic shipments.
• Safely and efficiently operating Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and material handling equipment to receive or transport product to storage and staging locations.

What you'll need:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• This role requires the ability to read, write, and speak English in order to understand and follow safety procedures, interpret work instructions, complete required documentation, and communicate effectively with team members.
• Understand and adhere to our safety guidelines and procedures.
• Willing to be trained on PIT equipment - e.g., Movexx/Amigo, Walkie Stacker, Double Walkie Rider, etc.

Physical job requirements:

• Walk up to 2 miles per shift.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently lift up to 70 pounds using an optional team lift.
• Rarely lift greater than 70+ pounds using a team lift.
• Stand, push, pull, carry, squat, and kneel.
• Climb up and down stairs (where applicable).
