Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Grass Valley, CA is seeking a Part-time Fulfillment Specialist to stock and deliver inventory, service vending programs, and support our local branch operations.

You will drive a branch vehicle, perform deliveries and replenishments, interact with customers daily, and help maintain equipment. This on-site role is at 12285 Loma Rica Dr, Grass Valley, CA 95945, with shifts 7:00am–5:00pm and up to 28 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving requirements to use a company vehicle.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities.
• Customer service oriented.
• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages weighing 25–50 lbs (up to 75 lbs).
• Pass the required drug screen where applicable.

OVERVIEW:

Embark on your journey as a Part-time Fulfillment Specialist, where you'll take charge of delivering excellence by replenishing inventory solutions and managing our industry leading vending program. If you thrive on being on the move, this role offers a dynamic local route, servicing customer needs daily. From making deliveries, to performing replenishments of our managed inventory programs, and maintaining equipment, you'll be at the forefront of our innovative solutions. This position is for our branch located at 12285 Loma Rica Dr, Grass Valley, CA 95945.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Making deliveries with a company vehicle to fulfill inventory at customer sites


• Performing replenishment and general maintenance of vending equipment


• Interacting with our customers while making deliveries


• Placing and fulfilling orders at customer sites


• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work


• Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed


• Proficient written and oral communication skills

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous customer service or industry related work experience
