Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Wisconsin, a member of the Guardian family, seeks a Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician I in Madison, WI to accurately fill and package prescriptions under a Pharmacist's supervision. You will prepare orders, apply labels, and help manage inventory to ensure timely deliveries.

Preferred: 1+ year of related experience, basic computer skills, and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced team environment. State requirements apply for licensure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements).
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB).
• 1+ years of related experience; basic computer skills; ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling appropriate prescriptions from inventory.
• Apply labels to medication packaging, scan and assemble into appropriate bins in an accurate and timely manner.
• Alert pharmacist on duty of any medication that is not scanning properly.
• Participate in training and development activities to gain proficiency in other Fulfillment workflow areas.
• Communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate supply of medication available to complete all orders.
• Assist in maintaining inventory at appropriate levels, including removing expired or unused meds, keeping inventory neat and in order.
