Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Pharmacy Technician license/certification per state requirements.
• National Certification (PTCB) preferred.
• 1+ years of related experience; basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling prescriptions from inventory.
• Apply labels to medication packaging, scan and assemble into appropriate bins.
• Alert pharmacist on duty of any medication that is not scanning properly.
• Assist in inventory maintenance and ensuring adequate supply to complete orders.
• Maintain accuracy and productivity; work with team to keep workflows smooth.
• Comply with local, state, and federal laws and policies for dispensing medications.
