Job summary

Target in Saint Charles, MO is seeking a Fulfillment Operations Team Leader to supervise hourly teammates, drive fulfillment goals, and maintain a high-quality guest experience on the floor.

You will plan workloads, coach staff, and monitor performance to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time while supporting sales growth and a positive store atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Retail experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lead and coach others to meet guest service goals.

Job description

The starting pay range for this position per hour is $22.25 - $24.25. The full pay range for this position per hour is $22.25 - $37.80

As a Fulfillment Operations Team Leader, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities:

• Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience
• Ensures every team member understands, is trained, and consistently delivers on Target’s guest experience commitmentsand consistent operations
• Actively observes and provides feedback, holding team members accountable while recognizing great guest experience moments
• Reviews area guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities, takes action to improve, and aligns team on the right behaviors and execution, celebrates wins, drives results that deliver outcomes and elevates the guest experience
• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience. Model,trainand coach expectations to deliver the service standard
• Lead your team and drivefulfillment goals, understand your role in supporting sales growth and how your departments and team contribute to and impact total store profitability, in support of yourdirectleader
• Utilize your workload planning tools to ensure your team completes all scheduledworkload and all orders are fulfilled to meet the delivery, freshness, and service standards
• Review all fulfillment reporting to identify gaps and develop a plan to resolve
• With direction from yourdirectleader, create daily plans for your team
• Be an expertofoperations, accuracy,processand efficiency
• Enable efficient delivery to our guests by leadingpickup and ship from store workload
• Evaluate and recommend candidates for open positions and develop a guest-centric team. Support yourdirectleader in their onboarding
• Withyourdirectleader, establish clear goals around quality, accuracy, and timeliness and hold team members accountable to expectations. Close any training gaps through coaching conversations
• Ensure the team is following food safety guidelines and selecting fresh food items for guests
• Ensure supplies are orderedtimelyand stocked. Partner with your direct leader for ordering
• Ifapplicable, as a key carrier, follow all safe and secure training and processes
• Occasionally assume store-level leadership on duty (LOD) responsibilities to enable the guest experience for the store during assigned shifts based on store needs
• Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and approaches, being authentic and respectful, and creating equitable experiences
• Always demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; lead team to work in the same way and hold others accountable to this commitment
• Lead and demonstrate a safety culture through modeling and recognizing safe behaviors, identifying and correcting hazards, holding team accountable to following safety expectations, assisting with incident response, and reporting/investigating injuries timely and accurately
• Model the execution of physical security processes in order to enhance the instore security culture
• Support merchandise protection strategies across the total store, including ordering, storage and application as directed by best practices
• Lead and demonstrate a culture of executing all best practices as outlined with team onboarding and learning; help close skill gaps through development, coaching and team interactions
• Address all store emergency and compliance needs
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Driveup (DU) and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and local adult beverage laws
• All other duties based on business needs

• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices andoperatehandheld scanners, and other technology equipment asdirected
• Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights,weekendsand holidays) and reliable andpromptattendance necessary
• Although the role is full-time, it does not come with a guarantee of 40 hours each week. Hours will depend on the needs of the business and may fluctuate as required
