Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience. Model, train and coach expectations to deliver the service standard.
  • Lead your team and drive fulfillment goals, understand your role in supporting sales growth and how your departments and team contribute to and impact total store profitability.
  • Utilize your workload planning tools to ensure your team completes all scheduled workload and all orders are fulfilled to meet the delivery and service standards.
  • Review all fulfillment reporting to identify gaps and develop a plan to resolve.
  • Create daily plans for your team in line with business priorities.
  • Be an expert of operations, accuracy, process and efficiency.
  • Enable efficient delivery to our guests by leading pickup and ship from store workload.
  • Evaluate and recommend candidates for open positions, develop a guest‑centric team, and support onboarding.
  • Establish clear goals around quality, accuracy, and timeliness; hold team members accountable and close training gaps through coaching.
  • Work a flexible schedule that aligns to guest and business needs, including early morning, evening, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ensure supplies are ordered timely and stocked; partner with your leader for ordering.
  • Follow all safe and secure training and processes as a key carrier, when applicable.
  • Promote inclusivity, valuing diverse voices and approaches, and creating equitable experiences.
  • Maintain a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; lead by example and enforce accountability.
  • Model safety behaviors, identify and correct hazards, support incident response and reporting, and investigate injuries.
  • Support merchandise protection strategies across the store, including ordering, storage, and application of best practices.
  • Execute all best practices with team onboarding and learning to close skill gaps.
  • Address all store emergency and compliance needs.
  • Support guest services such as back‑up cashier, order pick‑up (OPU) and Drive‑up (DU) while maintaining a compliance culture.
  • Greet guests warmly, engage with them when assistance is needed, and help solve their specific needs.
  • Show appreciation to guests, letting them know we’re happy they chose Target.
  • Perform all other duties as required by business needs.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong leadership skills; able to hold others accountable.
  • Comfortable with technology; able to learn and adapt to current systems.
  • Work independently and as part of a team; manage workload and prioritize tasks.
  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues.
  • Interpret instructions, reports and information accurately.
  • Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
  • Climb up and down ladders.
  • Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including lifting items up to 44 pounds alone and 45–100 pounds with team lift.
  • Communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed.
