Job summary

AutoZone in Memphis, TN is seeking an Order Puller to join our fulfillment center team. You will handle order selecting, packing and shipping, using an RF gun in a climate-controlled workspace.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing and walking for long periods, and working in a safety-sensitive environment. Distribution/warehouse experience and RF gun familiarity are preferred for career growth and reliable teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with movement and lifting techniques.
• Stand, walk, climb stairs, reach, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl constantly.
• Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception.
• Ability to hear safety horns and pre-shift announcements.
• Work in a safety-sensitive warehouse environment.
• Preferred: Distribution/warehouse experience.
• Preferred: Experience operating an RF gun.

Job Description

AutoZone's Order Pullers will find themselves working in a number of areas, such as order selecting, picking, packing, quality assurance, and shipping orders to our valued customers and stores using an RF gun and will be assigned a work schedule in our fulfillment center with climate-controlled workspaces.

Responsibilities

• Receiving freight

• Pulling, processing, and packing of orders

• Stocking and replenishment

• Outbound shipping.

Perform:

• Daily cycle counting

• Use equipment to track, monitor and verify products for distribution

• Maintain a clean work area

• Work in a Safety Sensitive environment

Qualifications

Physical Requirements:

• This position requires you to have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. while pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, stooping, using lifting techniques, and moving loads.
• This position requires you to stand, walk, climb stairs, reach, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl constantly.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus.
• Ability to hear safety horns, PIE horns, pre-shift announcements/safety messages, and pages.
• There are moving conveyors, and use of rolling ladders. You must always maintain awareness of the surroundings and have a quick reaction to hazardous conditions when necessary. Safety is of the utmost importance within the AutoZone warehouse.

• Distribution/warehouse experience

• Experience operating an RF gun
