Job summary

Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply in Jessup, PA is seeking a Picking and Packing Associate to support accurate and efficient order fulfillment. You will pick and pack inventory according to order specs, maintain stock levels, and assist with loading/unloading delivery trucks.

This is a full-time, Monday–Friday role with 8-hour shifts starting as early as 8:00 AM. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, can follow procedures, and is committed to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete pre-employment requirements, including a background check and drug screening.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50–75 pounds as required.
• Demonstrated history of reliable attendance and performance in a work or school setting.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to consistently arrive on time and maintain dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently pick and pack inventory to fulfill customer orders.
• Assist with inventory organization and control to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris, properly disposing of waste and trash.
• Perform all duties safely and responsibly, following OSHA standards, company policies, and established procedures.
• Promptly report any unsafe conditions, hazards, or practices to management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and overall operations.
