Job summary

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits, LLC. is hiring a Warehouse Worker POS to organize and issue point of sale materials for marketing and merchandising SGWS brands. You will establish inventory systems, coordinate flow from suppliers to the Sales Team, and maintain accurate records.

The role requires forklift operation and knowledge of warehousing practices, with opportunities to contribute to a dynamic beverage distribution network. This full-time position is on-site in Farmers Branch, TX.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in warehouse operations or similar role.
• Operate a forklift or other warehouse equipment safely.
• Knowledge of modern warehousing practices and methods.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain an effective and efficient warehouse and inventory system.
• Coordinate logistical flow of POS materials from supplier to Sales Team, including cross-dock locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using an inventory program (receipts, on-hand, and relief).
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with Sales Managers and Supplier Representatives.
• Maintain weekly receipt lists and ensure accuracy.
• Process requests from sales reps for POS, and coordinate FedEx/UPS shipments.

Overview

The Warehouse Worker POS is responsible for organize and issue point of sale materials for the purpose of marketing and merchandising SGWS brands.

Primary Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain an effective and efficient warehouse and inventory management system
• Effectively coordinate the logistical flow of point of sale display and merchandising material from supplier shipments to the Sales Team, including cross-dock locations
• Establish and maintain accurate inventory records using an inventory program (receipts, on-hand, and relief)
• Develop and maintain a professional business relationship with Sales Managers and Supplier Representatives
• Maintain weekly receipt lists and ensure they are accurate and up to date
• Create and manage a process for the sales representatives to request POS Effectively process, notify, and or distribute Fed Ex and UPS shipments
• Develop a process for communicating with Marketing Managers on in-bound and out-bound merchandise
• Communicate with Marketing Managers regarding monthly POS programs and allocationsAssist Sales Team with Sales Meeting preparation as needed
• Establish and maintain regular, consistent information flow regarding POS programs involving suppliers and sales department management
• Demonstrate company loyalty Cooperate with and assist peer and other dependents in attaining each other s objectives
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• 1 year of experience
• Operate a forklift or other warehouse equipment safely
• Knowledge with modern warehousing practices and methods

Physical Demands

• Physical demands include a considerable amount of time walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
• Must be able to frequently lift, lower, push, carry, or pull up to 48pounds
• Must be able to regularly sit and operate machinery such as a forklift, pallet jacks, and battery change stations
• Work may involve repetitive motions, working at varying heights, and exposure to warehouse environmental conditions
• Extended hours, overtime, weekends, and peak-season schedules may be required
