Job summary

White River Fulfillment, a Nashville-based third-party logistics provider, is hiring a Fulfillment Associate for our outbound team in Spring Hill. You will pick and pack orders using a high-tech stack, including ShipHero WMS and Pick-to-Light, to maintain 99% accuracy while keeping pace fast and efficient.

You’ll support inventory and receiving with spot-work and assembly tasks, ensuring the warehouse stays organized and lanes are clear.

Responsibilities

• Pick-to-Light Execution: Use our Pick-to-Light visual guidance system to quickly and accurately identify items for outbound orders.
• ShipHero WMS Management: Utilize ShipHero on mobile devices to scan barcodes, verify SKUs, and manage the digital lifecycle of every order.
• High-Accuracy Packing: Pack orders efficiently according to brand-specific requirements (e.g., custom tissue wraps, stickers, or specific marketing inserts).
• Quality Control: Perform final visual inspections and barcode verification to ensure every box contains exactly what the customer ordered.
• Output Goals: Stay active and engaged to meet daily fulfillment targets and ensure all orders are carrier-ready for same-day shipping.
• Team Collaboration: Assist the inventory and receiving teams with “spot support” to keep the warehouse organized.
• Kitting & Projects: Execute manual assembly projects, such as building subscription boxes, kitting multi-packs, or applying custom labels.
• Returns Support: Assist with inspecting returned items and sorting them based on quality and brand guidelines.
• Warehouse Excellence: Maintain clean, stocked, and organized packing stations within our Class-A facility.

The Opportunity

White River Fulfillment is hiring a dependable, detail-oriented Fulfillment Associate to join our outbound team. We utilize a high-tech fulfillment stack, including ShipHero WMS and a Pick-to-Light system, to ensure we maintain our 99% accuracy rates while keeping the pace fast and the work efficient.

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for picking and packing orders for some of the coolest growing brands in e-commerce. While you won't be responsible for primary inventory putaway, you will support those roles as needed to ensure the warehouse remains organized and picking lanes are clear.

What You’ll DoTech-Enabled Fulfillment (Primary Focus)

• Pick-to-Light Execution: Use our Pick-to-Light visual guidance system to quickly and accurately identify items for outbound orders, minimizing walking time and errors.
• ShipHero WMS Management: Utilize ShipHero on mobile devices to scan barcodes, verify SKUs, and manage the digital lifecycle of every order.
• High-Accuracy Packing: Pack orders efficiently according to brand-specific requirements (e.g., custom tissue wraps, stickers, or specific marketing inserts).
• Quality Control: Perform final visual inspections and barcode verification to ensure every box contains exactly what the customer ordered.

• Returns Support: Assist with inspecting returned items and sorting them based on quality and brand guidelines.
• Warehouse Excellence: Maintain clean, stocked, and organized packing stations within our Class-A facility.

What We’re Looking ForRequired Qualifications

• Tech-Savvy: You are comfortable working with Warehouse Management Systems and visual tech. Experience with ShipHero is a huge plus, but the ability to learn a mobile-driven workflow is a must.
• Detail Obsession: You understand that in a 3PL, the \"little things\" like a specific sticker or the right box size are what make our clients successful.
• Reliability: You show up on time, every time. Our warehouse is a team sport.
• Active Pace: Ability to stand and walk for a full shift and lift/move packages (up to 40-50 lbs) as needed.
• Communication: A positive attitude and the ability to communicate clearly with leads and teammates.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a 3PL or high-volume e-commerce warehouse.
• Specific experience with ShipHero WMS.
• Experience using Pick-to-Light or Put-to-Light systems.
