Mom’s Meals is hiring a Fulfillment Associate for order picking, scanning, and packing in a refrigerated warehouse.

Two shifts available with pay rates: $16.50/hour (1st shift) and $18.00/hour (3rd shift). Location: North Jackson, OH. Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Stand/walk for up to 8–10 hours.
• Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Strong service orientation and teamwork.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic reading skills.
• Post-offer drug screen and background check.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in warehouse distribution or similar environment.
• Regularly use hands to handle, read, and reach with arms.

Responsibilities

• Pick correct items for cooler boxes, scan, and pack to complete your portion of the order.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and production standards.
• Pay attention to details when reading labels and selecting product.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards.
• Produce quality work output consistently.
• Move product between locations following sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Assist with general housekeeping.
• Work inside a refrigerated warehouse (34–40 degrees) with provided gloves.
• Shifts may include weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Job description

Mom’s Meals, the leading national provider of refrigerated home-delivered meals in the healthcare market, is in hyper-growth mode. The Fulfillment Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, and packing a portion of each customer’s order as it passes in front of them in a safe and efficient manner. This position is fast paced and requires the associate to remain in a refrigerated environment for the entirety of the shift.

Shift Details

1st Shift: 7:00am – 3:00pm (must have weekend flexibility), starting pay of $16.50/hour

3rd Shift: 11:00pm – 7:00am (may need weekend flexibility), starting pay of $18.00/hour

Location: 134 S Bailey Road, North Jackson, OH 44451

Offer of employment is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check, where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Pick correct items for cooler boxes, scan appropriately, and pack items to complete your portion of the customer’s order
• Adhere to strict safety, quality, and production standards
• Pay close attention to detail while performing job duties including but not limited to reading labels, selection of product, etc
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards
• Produce a quality work output on a consistent basis
• Move product from one location to another, following food sanitation and safety guidelines
• Assist with general housekeeping
• Work is done inside a large warehouse area that is free from outside weather conditions but maintains a temperature between 34-40 degrees (Gloves will be provided)
• Shifts can include weekends and holidays and/or overtime

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Be able to stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours
• Able to lift/move to 50 lbs occasionally

• Be a team player, including the ability to communicate well with others
• Able to work independently with little supervision
• Must have basic reading skills
• Pass a post offer drug screen and background check
• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous experience in warehouse distribution, or similar environment
• Regularly required to use hands to handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms
• Frequently required to stand, talk, and listen
• Occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel or crouch
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• Able to perform repetitive movements
• Able to work in variable temperatures (cold/hot)
