Job summary

Sodexo at the University of Vermont is seeking a Fulfillment and Delivery Supervisor to coordinate operations and ensure quality standards and productivity while prioritizing safety. Shifts vary and full-time availability is preferred.

You will oversee on-site activities, deliveries, and route coordination. Responsibilities include supervising routes, maintaining vehicle records, and supporting management in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, safety-conscious demeanor required.
• Experience in warehouse, transportation, purchasing, customer service, or supply chain preferred.
• Food handler or ServSafe certification is a plus and a valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides oversight at the direction of management on-site to coordinate routine work of employees in operations, fulfillment, deliveries, and services at various locations.
• Supervise route assignments, route delivery, and transportation activities to ensure timely deliveries.
• Control vehicle maintenance schedules and records, including accident reporting and vehicle inspections as required by contracts and regulations.
• Support management in daily oversight of employees and key functions.
• Attends work and reports to scheduled shifts on time with regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and may vary by account and client requirements.

Pay Range:

$24.00 per hour - $28.00 per hour

What You’ll Do:

As a Fulfillment and Delivery Supervisor at Sodexo, you are a strategic coordinator and resource champion. You make an impact every day by ensuring quality standards and productivity goals are achieved and prioritize safety.

Responsibilities include:

• Provides oversight at the direction of management onsite to coordinate routine work activities of employees engaged in operations, fulfillment, deliveries, and services at various locations.
• Supervise route assignments, route delivery, and transportation activities, to ensure that all deliveries are completed in a timely manner.
• Control vehicle maintenance schedules and records, such as accident reporting and vehicle inspections, as required by contracts and regulations.
• Provide support to management in the daily oversight of employees and key functions.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

What You Bring:

• Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.
• Minimum 2 – 4 years of experience working in a warehouse, transportation, purchasing, customer service, sales or similar supply chain department.
• 0 – 2 years of transportation related work experience and Food handler card / Servsafe Certification preferred
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Additional Requirements:Possess a valid driver’s license
