Job summary

Aramco Services Company seeks a Fuels Quality and Compliance Advisor to provide product quality, regulatory, and compliance expertise for trading activities in the Americas. The role involves loss control, measurement, and engagement with inspectors and operators on crude, products, and renewables.

Seven years of petroleum experience and strong technical fuels knowledge are required, with expertise in ASTM standards and regulatory issues across federal/state levels.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of petroleum experience with a strong fuels background.
• Knowledge of ASTM standards and testing protocols and how to apply them.
• Ability to work in downtown Houston, TX office and coordinate with inspectors/operators.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain policy framework for product sampling/testing and fuel quality risk mitigation.
• Lead resolutions for fuel quality issues including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support loss control and monitor gains/losses in hydrocarbon transactions.
• Ensure adherence to API guidelines and hydrocarbons measurement procedures; document events.
• Monitor federal, state, and local fuel regulations and testing requirements; implement changes.
• Identify regulatory risks and communicate impacts on new transactions/products.
• Provide updates on emergency waivers affecting buying/selling/storing/blending.
• Engage with industry experts to develop and support new projects and products.
• Liaise with suppliers, shippers, and inspection companies to ensure product quality.
