WE Transport Inc. is seeking an entry-level mechanic to join our maintenance team on Long Island. The role involves diagnosing and repairing vehicles, conducting routine inspections, and communicating with clients and drivers about requirements and issues.

You will prepare quotes, maintain logs, and ensure safe operation of tools and equipment in a busy shop environment. Equal opportunity policies apply to all employment decisions.

Qualifications

• One year of mechanic experience.
• Starting rate of $23.00 per hour.

Responsabilités

• Assist with assessing vehicles and/or machinery to diagnose and repair issues.
• Liaise with clients and drivers to determine automotive requirements and communicate vehicular defects or problems.
• Provide routine inspections of vehicles and inform clients of any issues.
• Prepare quotes and work estimates as requested.
• Keep an accurate log of all work performed.
• Maintain and clean garage equipment and tools to ensure they are always kept in a safe and usable condition.
• Adhere to company work safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
