Job summary

Signature Aviation is seeking a Fueler to fuel and service aircraft and ensure safe and efficient operation of fueling equipment. Responsibilities include safe fueling/de-fueling, accurate fuel transaction records, and de-icing as needed.

Role requires maintaining equipment, proper fuel loading/balancing, and operating various fuel vehicles. The job emphasizes safety, compliance, and regular attendance in an on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Clear communication in English (in person, by phone, radio, and writing).
• High school diploma or GED with 3–6 months related experience or equivalent.
• Must be legally authorized to work and pass background checks, drug tests, and obtain airport security badge.

Responsibilities

• Fuel and de-fuel aircraft safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate accounting of fuel transactions.
• Perform de-icing as required.
• Keep equipment clean and functional; ensure proper loading/balancing of fuel.
• Operate fuel trucks, hydrant carts, and stationary carts.
• Report to work regularly and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

The following are essential to the job, in addition to those listed above and on the chart in this description. Certain functions may be performed in varying weather and environmental conditions, such as precipitation, extreme temperatures, jet engine fumes, dust, and noise. The tasks are performed inside and outside near stationary and moving aircraft (including spinning propellers and engines).

• Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Operate company vehicles in a safe manner.
• Add, subtract, multiply and divide and ability to perform mathematical functions with regard to weight, measurement and volume.
• Clearly communicate in English with others in person, via telephone, radio communicators, and in writing for purposes of performing certain job duties and safety.
• Wear uniform and insignia as prescribed by the Company.
• Report to work in a regular and timely basis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three (3) to six (6) months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Ability to pass background checks (criminal and motor vehicle), drug tests, receive and maintain issuance of an airport security badge, and be insurable by the company's insurance policies
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment
• Knowledge of fueling and de-fueling procedures for various aircraft, deicing procedures and fueling procedure for various ground equipment preferred.
• Must possess a valid state driver's license.
• Must successfully complete Company's PST program.
• Commercial Driver License (HI locations)
