Fuel Technicians install, maintain, and repair fuel dispensers, submersible fuel pumps, service station site controllers, credit card readers, cash register consoles (specifically Gilbarco Passport), and tank & line monitoring equipment.

The primary focus is on service station electronics, computers, and fuel dispensing systems. Duties include electronics, plumbing, and mechanical work. Work rotation will include after-hours on-call duty to assist service techs. A significant portion of work is outdoors in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Gilbarco experience and Wayne Certification are a plus; willingness to obtain certifications on Gilbarco Dispensers and Passport POS is necessary
• Previous experience in fuel maintenance or related trade school preferred
• Minimum of one (1) year maintenance experience required
• Electronic and computer skills preferred
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations
• Experience with hand and power tools
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, holidays, and on-call shifts
