Quantum Fuel Systems LLC in Midland, TX is seeking a Technician Trainee - Fuel Systems (Level 1) to learn MAE testing and certified inspection processes. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; ASE certification or technical school preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort following technical procedures and documentation.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record; Class A CDL with air brake endorsement or ability to obtain one.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office basics: Outlook, Excel, Word.
• Fluent in English, written and verbal.
• Able to travel and work in varying field conditions.
• Able to pass the Texas RRC CNG Service Installation exam (prep support).

Responsibilities

• Assist with visual inspections and setup of MAE test equipment under a certified Level 2 or Level 3 technician
• Collect and record test data, ensuring compliance with established inspection procedures
• Troubleshoot and repair Quantum fuel systems at our Midland, Texas facility
• Conduct maintenance on customer vehicles, trailers, and alternative-fuel systems
• Write service reports and contribute to technical documentation
• Travel domestically for inspections and field service
