Job summary

LV Petroleum LLC is seeking a skilled Fuel Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team in Tekonsha, MI. The role focuses on inspection, repair, and preventive maintenance of fuel systems across locations, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Starting hourly rate is $20/hr. Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of fuel systems maintenance experience and strong troubleshooting skills, with certifications in fuel maintenance or hazardous materials as a plus.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in fuel system maintenance or related field.
Knowledge of fuel pumps, dispensers, tanks and related equipment.
Strong troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for handling fuel systems.
Relevant certifications in fuel maintenance or hazardous materials are a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on fuel pumps, dispensers, tanks, and related equipment to ensure optimal operation.
Conduct inspections to verify that fuel systems comply with safety and environmental regulations.
Diagnose and resolve issues with fuel dispensing systems and related components, minimizing downtime and ensuring safety.
Implement preventive maintenance schedules to extend the life of equipment and prevent malfunctions.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and parts inventory to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols for handling fuel systems and hazardous materials.
