Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with fueling systems, dispensers, submersible pumps, piping, and tank systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment; diagnose circuits and replace components.
• Background servicing/Installing POS systems, tank monitors, and interstitial monitoring systems.
• Experience with tools, test equipment, and diagnostic software used in fuel system servicing.
• Field service background with on-site issue response and minimal supervision.
• Must have certifications or training such as Gilbarco Passport, Gasboy, Verifone, or HAZWOPER.
• Ability to interpret manuals, wiring diagrams, and installation drawings.
• History of safe work practices in hazardous locations and spill response.
• Strong customer service, punctuality, and ability to work independently or in a crew.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair fuel dispensers and storage tanks and related petroleum equipment.
• Troubleshoot and service electrical and mechanical components of fuel systems.
• Calibrate and test fuel dispensing systems and POS interfaces for accuracy and compliance.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections of fueling systems.
• Respond to emergency service calls to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations including UST/AST.
• Maintain detailed service records, test results, and maintenance logs.
• Interact professionally with customers, vendors, inspectors, and site personnel.
• Adhere to safety policies including lockout/tagout and confined space procedures.
• Stay current with industry standards and manufacturer training.
