Job summary

TAIT is a proud partner of the DoD SkillBridge Program and offers apprenticeship opportunities to U.S. Armed Forces members. The program enables service members to gain civilian work experience during the last 180 days of service.

The apprentice position trains individuals to become a Service Technician who will test, maintain, and repair refueling equipment for the petroleum industry, while ensuring regulatory compliance and safe operation at client sites.

Qualifications

• Active duty service member eligible for SkillBridge.
• Separating from the military in 4–12 months.
• Able to complete 8 weeks to 6 months SkillBridge apprenticeship.
• Able to commit to 40 hours per week.
• Must be mechanically minded.

Responsibilities

• Complete required training classes and obtain position certifications.
• Obtain 40-hour HAZWOPER certificate after 4-week training.
• Train in the field with experienced Service Technicians and Operators.
• Diagnose and repair UST & AST systems.
• Document inspection data and complete paperwork on time.
