Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a gas station associate to assist customers with pay-at-the-pump transactions and help fill vehicles with fuel when appropriate. You will operate the cash register, process payments, and ensure accurate receipts and bagging of items.

The role requires maintaining inventory, secure cash handling, and cooperating with coworkers to ensure a clean, safe environment and adherence to health standards. No prior experience is required.

• Education as stated: high school diploma or GED or working toward diploma.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with pay-at-the-pump transactions and help fill vehicles with fuel when applicable.
• Operate cash register and complete checkout procedures, provide receipts, bag goods; keep receipt tapes full.
• Maintain inventory of fuel, vehicle accessories, and other products; handle cash, checks, and card transactions.
• Follow security and cash drawer procedures; interact with POS vendor if needed to fix issues.
• Greet customers, answer questions, resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation; follow health/OSHA guidelines; maintain PPE usage.
• Support other departments as needed and cooperate with teammates.
