Job summary

Haffner's in New Hampshire is seeking a delivery driver responsible for the safe and timely distribution of fuel oil, diesel, off-road fuel, gasoline, and propane. You may assist with meter readings and fleet maintenance during slower periods, while upholding strong safety standards.

The role emphasizes reliable communication with the office team, adherence to DOT and company regulations, and a commitment to service excellence. A sign-on bonus is offered, along with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of petroleum or propane delivery experience preferred.
• Commercial Driver’s License, Class A or B with hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements.
• Valid DOT medical certificate.
• Ability to drive a standard-shift transmission.
• Ability to pass company drug, alcohol tests and physical.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/overtime/on-call shifts.
• Experience with DOT/HazMat/OSHA/FMCSA requirements.
• Certifications such as CETP delivery modules for propane are a plus.
• Proficient with Android tablets and web-based software.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently delivers distillates and propane following safety practices and regulations.
• Performs leak checks, appliance relighting, and oil priming as needed.
• Maintains timely, respectful communication with office staff and managers.
• Inspects and maintains delivery trucks; conducts pre-trip inspections and paperwork.
• Performs fleet-related tasks and monthly meter readings as required.
• Supports safety initiatives and continuous process improvements.
