ATFS specializes in the transfer of aviation Jet-A fuel to its customers through an underground hydrant distribution system. In addition to fuel farm operations, ATFS deploys a fleet of commercial fuel trucks to support air carrier activities throughout Alliance Airport. With a focus on reliability, safety, and seamless service, ATFS plays a vital role in powering the region’s aviation infrastructure.

Position Summary:

  • Accurately order, track, and manage Jet‑A fuel inventory to support ongoing operations.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Maintain strict compliance with ATA 103 guidelines.
  • Adhere to all NFPA 407 safety protocols.
  • Follow operational standards set by MIL-STD-1548H.

Equipment and Vehicle Maintenance:

  • Clean, inspect, and maintain ground handling equipment and support vehicles to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of all fuel trucks.

Team Participation and Support:

  • Attend scheduled company meetings, trainings, and safety briefings throughout the year.
  • Assist with aircraft cargo loading and unloading procedures as needed.
  • Support Fixed Base Operator (FBO) operations during peak activity periods and special aviation events.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to support clear and accurate reporting.
  • Self‑starter who can work independently and see projects through to completion without direct supervision.
  • Demonstrated commitment to upholding ATFS’s workplace safety programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to identify and implement innovative solutions that improve efficiency without compromising safety or standards.
  • Ability to operate Fuel Management Software to monitor and manage fuel system performance.
  • Ability to utilize standard office equipment, including copy and fax machines.
  • Ability to operate VHF Aircraft Radios for communication and coordination.
  • Skilled in operating a wide range of aircraft ground support equipment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Education and Experience:

  • Highschool diploma required; college coursework or technical training preferred.
  • Prior experience in fuel farm operations, fuel quality assurance, and basic mechanical systems preferred.
  • Familiarity with forklift operation and related ground handling equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods during shifts.
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and reaching required.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Must be able to work in high-noise environments and around moving aircraft and equipment.
  • Manual dexterity and physical coordination required for operating tools and machinery.
