Job summary

Signature Aviation, a leading private aviation services provider, seeks a Fuel Farm Technician at our Norfolk facility. You will receive/dispatch jet fuel and other fuels via pipeline and trucks, perform sampling for quality control, and carry out basic maintenance on fuel systems and equipment.

You will support QC with reporting on hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems, transfer products, and monitor storage tanks to prevent spills and contamination.

Qualifications

• Fluent English reading/writing/speaking.
• High school diploma or GED with related experience or training.
• Must complete PST training program and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Receive/dispatch jet fuel, gasoline, diesel, avgas and glycol.
• Sample/test products for quality control and perform inspections/maintenance.
• Support QC with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical reports and preventative maintenance.
• Transfer product and monitor storage tanks/pipelines to prevent spills/contamination.
• Conduct routine inspections per safety standards.
• Maintain logs of fuel transactions and maintenance.
