Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Austin, TX, is seeking a Fuel Farm Operator responsible for sampling and testing products for quality control, plus inspecting and maintaining fuel facilities and vehicles.

You will work a flexible schedule and must pass pre-employment testing. The role requires lifting up to 70 pounds, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain airport badges; we value safety, reliability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience.
• Valid Driver's License and airport IDs/Badges.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Must pass all pre-employment testing, including drug screening and a physical.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain required airport and customs badges/seals.

Responsibilities

• Receive/dispatch jet fuel, gasoline, diesel, avgas and glycol.
• Sample and test products for quality control; perform inspections and basic maintenance on facilities and fuel systems.
• Support Quality Control with hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical reporting and preventative maintenance.
• Perform routine inspections to comply with company, customer, government and industry standards.
• Log fuel transactions and maintenance entries; monitor storage tanks and pipelines to prevent spills and contamination.
