Job summary

Menzies Aviation is seeking a Fuel Farm Operator to manage sampling and testing of fuels, perform inspections, and maintain fueling facilities and equipment. You will handle jet fuel, avgas, and related products while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires outdoor work, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds. You will participate in pre-employment testing and badge access processes as part of the safety program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience/training; or equivalent combination.
• Valid driver's license; FAA airport IDs/authorizations as required; must be 18+.
• Ability to safely lift up to 70 pounds.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and a physical.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain airports and customs badges.
• Exposure to outdoor work and all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Receives and dispatches jet fuel, gasoline, diesel, avgas and glycol by pipelines and trucks.
• Samples/tests products for quality and conducts basic maintenance on facilities and fuel systems.
• Supports QC Technicians with hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical reports and maintenance.
• Performs routine inspections to meet standards.
• Transfers product and monitors tanks/pipelines to prevent spills and contamination.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.

Role Purpose

The role of the Fuel Farm Operator is to be responsible for sampling and testing products for quality control, and performing inspections and basic maintenance on facilities, fuel systems and fueling vehicles.

What you will be doing:

• Receives/dispatches jet fuel, gasoline, diesel fuel, avgas and glycol via pipelines and trucks.
• Samples and tests products for quality control and performance inspections and basic maintenance on facilities, fuel systems and fueling vehicles.
• Supports Quality Control Technicians with hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical reports and preventative maintenance of equipment at fuel storage facilities/systems including related equipment on fueling vehicles.
• Performs routine and periodic inspections in compliance with company, customer, government and industry standards
• Transfers product and monitors storage tanks, pipelines and related equipment to ensure that they are in good working order to prevent spills, releases, overfills and product contamination
• Conducts all work in a safe fashion by adhering to all company, customer, industry, local, state and federal safe work policies/procedures

What we are looking for:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experienceand/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver's License. Possess/maintain a valid driver’s license and other FFA Airport required identification/seals or authorizations. Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to safely lift up to 70 pounds.
• Must pass all pre-employment testing to include drug testing and a physical.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all required airports and customs badges/seals.
• Work is done primarily outdoors. Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions, work is
  primarily outdoors.
