Job summary

Circle K in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service fueling equipment, troubleshoot and repair gasoline-related systems, and perform preventive maintenance.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years in maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and proficiency with MS Office; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires teamwork, complying with safety procedures, and willingness to train on new equipment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or related field preferred. Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.
• 3-5 years’ experience in the maintenance field or more preferred.
• Able to use hand/electric cart.
• Able to use power and hand tools.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently in high priority, confidential, demanding business environment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and must be insurable as a driver.
• Must be computer literate in MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

• Maintains fueling equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning and maintaining gasoline related equipment; provides preventive maintenance.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and may include dispenser calibration.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
• Will be required to participate in training for existing and new equipment.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Increases professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reading professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing Financial and Key Result Area targets pursuant to Company plan guidelines.
