Job summary

Irving Oil Ltd. is seeking a Fuel Delivery Driver to join our team. You will deliver to residential and commercial customers, loading the truck, following daily routes, and performing pre- and post-trip inspections in a safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities include working with Dispatch to meet delivery schedules, adhering to DOT regulations, and maintaining documentation. A CDL with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements and 2+ years of commercial transport experience are required.

Qualifications

• A valid CDL Class A or Class B Driver’s License with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements.
• Minimum 2 years Commercial Transportation experience required; experience with liquid loads is an asset.
• Education: High school diploma or GED.

• Drive a delivery truck while adhering to all DOT regulations and procedures.
• Work with Dispatch Team to deliver products to residential and commercial customers.
• Follow a daily route using knowledge of geography, routes, zones, streets, etc.
• Load truck with required product while adhering to safety policies and procedures at loading site/bulk plant.
• Complete daily shift report, pre- and post-trip inspections and required paperwork.

Job description

As a Fuel Delivery Driver, you will work with our Dispatch team to deliver product safely to our residential and commercial customers. Your goal will be to provide a meaningful and essential service to our Irving Energy customers in a safety focused environment. Your success will depend on your ability to adhere to daily routes, load the fuel truck, and complete pre-and post-trip inspections while maintaining all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and procedures.

Your Responsibilities

The expected hourly range for this position is $28.50-$31.50. Placement within range will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, and skills.
