Job summary

Kroger is seeking an team-oriented associate to assist customers at the fuel center. Responsibilities include pumping gas, handling cashier duties, and ensuring a clean, safe environment in a fast-paced setting.

You will maintain compliance with policies, assist customers including minors and seniors, and complete daily inspections and incident reports while upholding Kroger's values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes.

Responsibilities

• Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Pump gas.
• Complete daily tour and inspection.
• Fill out incident and security reports.
• Clean up fuel spills and complete Fuel Spill Report.
• Recover displays; maintain cleanliness of department.
• Perform cashier functions.
• Answer telephones.
• Comply with corporate policies.
• Comply with all safety guidelines and standards.
• Promote and follow company initiatives.
• Maintain knowledge of emergency plans numbers and procedures.
• Ability to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner.
• Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.
