Job summary

H&S Energy Products is seeking a Fuel Attendant & Customer Service Representative in Folsom, CA. The role combines fueling operations with inside and outside customer service to ensure a safe, welcoming store environment.

You will greet customers, handle checkout interactions, assist with fueling, and promote promotions while adhering to safety regulations and company policies. Prior retail or fuel service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in retail, fuel service, or customer service environment preferred.
• Basic understanding of fuel safety and compliance procedures preferred.
• Ability to complete propane training as required by state/local regulation.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers promptly and professionally, delivering a welcoming experience.
• Provide efficient, accurate service at checkout and fueling; promote promotions and loyalty programs.
• Assist with fueling, propane dispensing, and other customer needs.
• Respond to inquiries and escalate to management as needed.
• Safely operate fuel pumps and propane handling per safety regulations.
• Verify fuel types and monitor for leaks or hazards.
• Maintain clean, safe fueling area and store environment.
• Process cash, credit, and debit transactions and balance drawers.
• Follow cash-handling and loss-prevention procedures.
• Collaborate with team to achieve store goals and support promotions.
