Job summary

Storm4 is seeking an experienced Financial Transmission Right (FTR) trader to join a well-capitalized trading team in New York. You will trade congestion products across multiple ISO/RTO markets, conduct market research, and design trading strategies with significant performance-based compensation.

You’ll work alongside analysts and seasoned traders to evaluate opportunities, manage positions, and test new ideas while contributing to a fast-paced, high-stakes environment with strong upside

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as an FTR trader or in a closely related role.
• Strong working knowledge of at least one ISO/RTO market.
• Experience managing the full lifecycle of a strategy, including risk oversight.
• Proficiency in modeling, programming, and quantitative techniques.
• Strong analytical background using probability and statistics.
• Ability to make quick decisions under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Position Overview

They are seeking an experienced Financial Transmission Right (FTR) trader to focus on trading congestion products across multiple Independent System Operators/Regional Transmission Organizations (ISO/RTOs). The role involves active trading, market research, and the design of trading strategies.

As part of a growing FTR trading team, you will work closely with analysts and experienced traders to evaluate opportunities, manage positions, and test new ideas.
