Job summary

Elior School Dining at University Academy in Kansas City is seeking a skilled utility worker to oversee sanitation operations and coordinate tasks to ensure completion.

You will care for and clean floors and dining areas, restock supplies, manage waste disposal, receive inventory, and sanitize dishes and equipment in the dish room.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow safe operating procedures and use sound judgement.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Nice-to-haves: prior experience in foodservice or maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Care for and clean floors and table areas in the dining space.
• Restock supplies in the dining area.
• Remove and dispose of waste properly.
• Receive and stock inventory.

The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add a skilled utility worker to our Elior School Dining team. As a utility worker, you will have the opportunity to oversee sanitation operations and coordinate tasks to ensure completion.

What you'll be doing:

• Removal and proper disposal of waste.
• Receiving and stocking inventory.
• Cleaning, maintaining, and sanitizing dishes, utensils, cooking equipment, the dish room, and other equipment.

• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves:

• Prior experience in foodservice and/or a maintenance role.
